about

This Indo-Jazz Raga was composed during my time in the Himalayas inspired by the mountain peaks and Buddhist monasteries. This composition is set in teentaal (16 beats) and is played in the form of a Raga- Alap, Jor, Madhya Gat, Drut Gat. It also features the use of Tibetan meditation bowls that are tuned to the Raga notes. It was recording live at Yoga Food Music, Toronto 2011.
